Mindfulness for Young Children (Lower Primary) @ BL, Semester 2

Parachute: The rule of the game is to just watch it. The children have fun watching “the URGE (desire) to touch it….” but they have to learn to manage their desire.

Research has shown that children who can manage their desire / emotions perform better when they grow up. They are able to manage their finance & relationship, possess self-confidence, empathy, perseverance, etc.

Instead of punishing the child for touching the parachute, it’s more important to teach them the skill (self-management) at a young age, in a safe and fun environment.
